Violet is a very sweet dog that takes her time to warm up to new people. Violet absolutely loves going for walks, and she always has an innocent puppy look in her eyes. She plays in a cat-kind of way, pouncing on toys and prancing around. She is young at heart.

She can be food possessive, but is otherwise very submissive around other dogs. Violet is very sensitive to noise and stimulation, and she will become nervous when a storm rolls in or a smoke detector goes off. Violet needs a person who will be attuned to her anxiety and willing to give her extra attention and reassurance during times of stress.
