Hi! My name is Harley and I am a female American Pitbull Terrier. I am an incredibly friendly, affectionate pup who LOVES to play. I enjoy the company of people, although I have not been around kids yet. I love going on walks and hikes, so if you are active and love the outdoors, I am the perfect dog for you! I do not care too much for other dogs, so it’s best if I am the only dog in the house. I am?healthy, UTD on shots,?and housebroken. Additional Info from the Current Owner
Personality
Harley is an affectionate, happy, hyper pup who loves the company of people. She loves to play fetch, go on walks and hikes, and snuggle. She knows basic commands – sit, stay, down, and will do anything for a treat.
Current Home Environment
Roommates come and go but, as her owner, It has always just been me and Harley. I have no one else that will give her the love and attention she deserves and am always very busy with my college courses, work, internships, etc.
Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
She loves to chew on bones and Kong toys with a hidden treat. She has a strong jaw so she needs tough toys. She will eat anything – not picky with her food at all. She loves going on walks and hikes or simply throwing a toy around the yard (or living room). Although she has a lot of energy, she loves to cuddle up with me and watch TV (especially animal planet!)
Why are they Being Rehomed?
With school, work, internships, and a long-distance relationship, I fear I do not have the time to give her the love and attention that she deserves. Also, money is very tight right now and I may have to move into my parent’s house until I finish college (they do not allow dogs due to allergies).
Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
I am looking for a loving family for my pup. Preferably active people who can take her on walks or hikes but will also cuddle on the couch with her. A home where she would be the only dog would be preferred because she only gets along with very calm stable dogs. Her new family will need to have a lot of patience with her at first because she is very hyper and excited around new people (experienced dog owners is a plus). She also needs a good sized yard with some shade (she gets sunburned easily)
