Hi, My name is Tullah!
I am a Black/ Flat haired Female Retreiver/Chow mix Dog. I am 10 years young, very healthy and spayed. I am a large girl, weighing 50 pounds. I live in Woodbridge, Va.
Tullah is a very sweet dog and she loves to receive and give attention, she knows basic commands, great with kids and learns quickly.
She was rescued from a kill shelter last year by her current owners, who always had it in mind to find her the loving, forever home she deserves. She is such a loving, devoted and sweet dog. Very well behaved, quiet, house-trained and perfect.
Tullah is looking for a home where she will be cherished. She would very much love to be the center of your universe. She gets along well with cats and other dogs – and she LOVES kids.
Please offer this incredibly sweet girl a home where she will be cherished and receive the attention, exercise and unconditional love she deserves. This is a dog that will leave paw prints on your heart.

Tullah’s Personality

Tullah’s Current Home Environment
The main reason for re-homing her is because I believe she would be better off with a family/couple that have no other dogs in the household. I believe she was raised in a home prior to adoption with her being the sole dog/pet. We have two other dogs and although they get along for the most part, she isolates herself a lot, more recently than she used to. I just want her to be happy and right now in our current situation, I don’t believe its possible
Tullah’s?Current Family:
We live in a single family home with 3 boys and 3 dogs, River, Tullah and Buddha (those are the dogs names, not the boys 🙂 ) My wife and both work from home so the dogs are rarely left alone. The dogs have a fenced .5 acre lot to play.
Tullah’s?Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
being walked, car rides, SWIMMING!
Cute?Tullah?Story:
As mentioned above, she loves to swim but our two other dogs do not. So when we take them on a hike to the resevoir, she jumps right in, swims around, and then comes to shore feeling very proud of herself that she isnt afraid of the water but her and brother and sister are, its funny to watch 🙂
Why is?Tullah?Being Rehomed?
We adopted her last year b/c she was in a kill shelter, so we took here in, with the mindset that we would find here a new home. We believe she was raised in a home prior to adoption with her being the sole dog/pet. We have two other dogs and although they get along for the most part, she isolates herself a lot, more recently than she used to. I just want her to be happy and right now in our current situation, I don’t believe its possible.
Tullah’s?Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
A loving home with some yard for her to play with kids.
