Peyton - Cat For Adoption in Tampa

Precious Peyton

Meet Walter, and his sister, Peyton! This bonded pair of healthy, well behaved and very clean 4 year olds are in desperate need of a new home, with loving owners who will cherish them and provide a safe, healthy and happy forever home.

Both cats are just 4 years old, very healthy, up to date on shots altered and ready-to-own. They are indoors-only cats. They are fine with small children and other pets.

Walter and Peyton live in Tampa, and are hoping to find a new abode in the area. They are being rehomed by their loving owners, who have found themselves in the very distressing situation of no longer being able to provide for their cherished family members. Sadly, due to health issues with their daughter, the family must find Peyton and Walter a new home urgently. They are heartbroken to have to make this change, but it is essential for the safety and wellbeing of these wonderful cats.

Walter is a very dog-like cat. He is so cool! He’s got a very laid back, gentle and affectionate personality. Nothing fazes him. He’s a very clean cat – always uses his litter box properly and doesn’t scratch the furniture.

Peyton is a sweetheart. She is so pretty, with her Tabby markings and beautiful green eyes. She has a “wild” look, but a very tame, inquisitive, playful and affectionate nature.

This pair are very much in love with each other, so it is very important that they find a home together. They will be placed with their supplies, along with the very sincere gratitude and friendship of their current family.

Walter’s Personality

Walter is a good guy, very laid back, very attentive. He’s been said to be “like a dog” because he follows you around the house to see what you’re doing and greets you when you get home. He is good for “fun” families and will be great in a younger household. He’s long-hair, not declawed, inside only cat. He is totally house trained, neutered, no bathroom issues, no aggression issues, doesn’t make noise, loves playing, great cat, easy-going.

Walter’s Current Home Environment

We live in a house with about 1200 sqft. We made the cats a cat highway for them to climb and look down.

Walter’s Current Family:

We live with Walter and his best friend Peyton. We have a 7 year old daughter. The cats have grown up together with her.

Walter’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Walter likes to eat and sleep and watch cat TV (the window). He follows the humans around to see what they are doing and greet them when they get home. He is not a picky eater and likes to play with bags and noisy toys.

Cute Walter Story:

Whenever I am sick or sad Walter will come in my room and lie down on my chest. He is huge and it’s kind of awkward but it makes all my troubles go away.

Why is Walter Being Rehomed?

My daughter has developed some mental health issues and the pets needs safer home.

Walter’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

It is important to me that Walter and Peyton stay together. They need to be not declawed and indoor only. They don’t have any skills for outdoor living and they like their knuckles 😉 for Peyton it will be better to be in a quieter home.
