Bruno’s Personality

Sweet, fun loving, everybody’s best friend, very playful, loves belly rubs and going for walks-especially if there is swimming involved!

Bruno’s Current Home Environment

We live on a horse ranch with a wide variety of other animals on 44 acres. We have 3 other dogs, 2 cats, 2 goats, and horses for pets.

Bruno’s Current Family:

We are a very active family always on the go. My husband and I are expected our first child in Jan. 2016. We both have full-time jobs working with animals. My husband is a former vet. tech. He is now an animal caretaker for government animals. I’m a licensed vet. tech. We met by working at the same veterinary clinic together and soon fell in love and the rest was history 🙂 We both love and care for all sorts of animals deeply and try to help them out as best we can.

Bruno’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

Favorite Toys: anything chewable like rawhide, etc.
Favortie Food: he loves all food
Activities: playing with other animals, belly rubs, swimming, playing in the rain.

Cute Bruno Story:

When I first found Bruno was when I was on my way to work, and I wasn’t wearing my glasses at the time mind you. I drove past what I thought was a little puppy, he was hoping after the cars while along the side of the road. I thought to myself who would leave a poor little puppy out in the middle of no where in the rain. So I drove back opened my door and called for the puppy and couldn’t find him anywhere. Then all of a sudden he appeared just as I was going the close my car door! He jumped in the car and crawled up my lap and was licking my face. He was covered in mud too…but he was so sweet there was no way I could turn him down. Well needless to say he wasn’t a puppy…he was a unique very short stature dog. Since I work at a veterinary clinic I took him to work and gave him the royal treatment to fix him up. He has been a great family dog ever since. He loves the home so much that one time my dad accidently let him out of the yard….none of us could figure out how he got back in. Well we found that he had dug his way to get back in the yard…talk about one loyal dog!

Why is Bruno Being Rehomed?

We are looking to re-home Bruno because we have enough animals already and I feel that we will not be able to give him all of the attention he deserves. Especially because I am expecting a baby in a few months. Under the right circumstances we would love to keep him but in light of our current situation it would not be fair for him.

Bruno’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

We are looking for someone who wants to make him part of the family. He loves to play so if he had somebody or another buddy to play with that would be great. Even a family with children would be awesome.
