Hi my name is Jinx and I am a black and white male cat. I am 6 or 7 years old, weigh 10 lbs. and live in Texas with my sister Loki, an orange and white Tabby mix who is also about 6 or 7 years old, but is a little smaller than me weighing only about 5 lbs.
We are both incredibly friendly cats! Cool, calm and collected is a good way to describe our personalities! We both love affection, but can be independent as well. We have never hurt any one, or had issues with any other pets. Our owners only need to rehome us due to an allergy with their child. If it wasn’t for that, they would keep us forever!
We have no ongoing medical issues, are UTD on shots and are ready to go to our new home today! We need to be adopted together, so please keep that in mind when inquiring!
There is a $50 adoption/rehoming fee. All supplies will be included.

Loki is calm, sweet, and independent. She let’s you hold her like a baby, but prefers to be in your lap. She lets you “de-fur” her and trim her nails without needing two people (one to hold, the other to work). She’s social if the people in the house are known and calm.
Jinx is?the laid-back-lounger. He’s your typical cat that enjoys being petted…when HE wants you to pet him (smiles). He prefers the floor versus heights, and loves to curl at your feet versus your lap.
Current Home Environment
We have a large house, two story with a fenced in back yard. Loki loves lounging on the back porch on warm days – as long as the door is open so that she knows she can come back in.
We have two big dogs and a new baby girl. We are always on the go. We work, we travel, we play, and we lounge around. Loki is happiest when we are home, of course, but is not destructive when we leave. She’ll just curl up with her brother, Jinx, or the dogs instead.
Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities Include:
Jinx isn’t much for toys except the laser pen! He’s a bigger cat, so his jumping efforts are laughable. It’s very amusing to see him chase the red light! He LOVES food and any treats – he’s not picky at all.
Loki is a lover! She will curl up on your chest or in your lap and be content. She will chase the laser pen and can jump impressively high. She is fearless and enjoys walking along the banister railings. She responds to commands as a dog would (Out, Come, Get down, etc)…but she’s most famous for talking.
The funniest thing I’ve ever seen is when something scares Jinx! For a bigger cat who’s favorite pass-time is lounging, he can suddenly jump 4 feet…straight into the air…when he’s surprised!
From day one, the dogs have been in our cats’ lives. Loki is the “bather” of the four animals. Yes, she even bathes the dogs! Watching her lick the dogs fur, and the subsequent looks on the dogs’ faces, is priceless!
Our 16 month old daughter has very bad eczema – the kind that likely will not go away as she gets older. For the last year we’ve experimented back and forth with removing the cats from the home and doing a thorough house cleaning – including shampooing the carpets…and then bringing them back into the home. There’s a definite correlation to our daughter’s flare-ups and the cats in our home. For this reason, we made the painful decision to re-home our fur-babies.
