Hi! I?am Niya and this is my son, Bahgeera! We are both?indoor cats, so we prefer to be kept inside close to our?owners. We currently live with 7 other cats and 2 dogs, so we are?very social around other animals! If your home has many other critters (including children!), it will not be a problem for us! We were strays until my current family took us?in nearly 4-years-ago. They would keep us, but with all the other pets, they want me to find a home where Bahgeera and I will get more attention and love. Please adopt us?today! We do not need to be adopted together, but if you can take us both, that would be even better!

More Info From the Current Owners
Niya’s Personality
Niya is a timid laid back cat. She doesnt usually play but loves to cuddle.
Niya’s Current Home Environment
Niya is an indoor cat and has been since my mother found her 4 years ago. We have other animals and my 3 year old son in the home as well.
Niya’s Current Family:
We have seven cats (including one of her sons, Bahgeera) and two dogs currently in our home and Niya gets along with everyone.
Niya’s Favorite Toys, Food, and Activities:
Niya doesn’t pay my son much mind but she loves to go from animal to animal (both cat and dog) or person to person and give or get some love. Niya doesn’t play much so she doesn’t really have any toys.
Why is Niya Being Rehomed?
With my son getting older and having to work so much I do not have the time I believe Niya needs and craves for attention.
Niya’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
Niya is good with children but she is very small so i wouldn’t want anyone who has small children that don’t understand yet to be easy with animals. Niya had a very rough life outside so I want someone who will keep her inside. Also since the reason for my giving her away is time, I want someone who will have the time to give her the attention I can not. I would also prefer if she can be rehomed with her son Bahgeera.
Additional Comments:
Niya came to me after my mother found her and brought her inside. She was a stray at the time and very afraid of people. A day later she gave birth to four kittens so I brought her to my home to care for her. It took time but I gained her trust and by the time her kittens were old enough to get homes and left she was comfortable enough to start popping up behind me on the cough and start grooming my hair. She is a very loving, mothering cat. I am hoping to find her the perfect home and possible with her son, Bahgeera.
