Hi, My name is Judah!
He is such a sweet boy! Very healthy, neutered, up to date on his shots and very well behaved. A?mix of Greyhound and American Pit Bull Terrier. aged nine years old. ?The first thing that people see when they look at Judah is his obvious American Pit Bull genes, but he’s a lot more than he appears. ?His Greyhound side is sensitive and loving and Judah has spent 9 years being the only dog in his home. He loves to be spolied and adores “chillaxing or hanging out” with people. ?Up until now, that means being the only dog in a kid-free home. He won’t be comfortable anywhere else, and needs your help to find that sort of home again. ?Can you help him find that?near Denver, Colorado?
Judah?is ?looking for a loving, forever home with adults who love to snuggle and are seeking a very devoted friend. Please offer me a home today!

Judah’s Personality
Judah is a fabulous dog! He ADORES life and gives attention to whomever is watching him. He has a lot of life in him but of course, is getting older. He can be territorial and is not the best with other dogs, simply because we did not raise him or bring him up around other dogs. Same with small kids.. he just doesn’t understand them and therefore we suggest may not be the best scenario. But for someone who wants a pal, Judah is PERFECT! He rides in the car with you, will sleep in bed with you (IF you’d like), LOVES when you walk in the door, LOVES going on walks and runs, and really does have a great temperament.
Judah’s Current Home Environment
Very peaceful. Judah has been the “only child” for 9 years and really, is probably best spending the rest of his years that way too. He does like attention but doesn’t need as much as he did when he was younger. He is a dog that WANTS to be a part of the family and will do best in that type of home. Though he is a large dog, he did GREAT in our apartments and “small living” for the first 7 years of his life. He doesn’t need a lot.
Judah’s Current Family:
Judah has been our “baby” for the past 9 years. We found him in the Virgin Islands and he has been a GIFT ever since. He has great energy, is VERY loyal, has a great demeanor, and is a great protector. My husband and I have 1 son, who is 13 months and we are Denver natives.
Judah’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
Judah loves to play chase with the ball, tug and war with just about anything!
He eats pretty clean as he does have some reactions to wheat, chicken, etc so we stick to 2 certain brans that have sweet potatoes and salmon in them. Moderately priced dog food. He also LOVES dog treats!
He loves walks, will run probably 1-2 miles and a good hike here and there are GREAT for him. He also LOVES car rides and just being with people. Dog park is a NO just due to his inability to connect with other dogs.
Cute Judah Story:
Judah is the type of dog that just LOVES being around those he loves.
My husband bought a dirt bike and took it out on our track of 10 acres. Judah insisted on keeping up with him. 5 minutes turned in 15 and it was Judah’s desire to be near my husband that he kept running and running and running! Almost like, “wait for me dad!” We ended up having to bring him inside or he would have run himself into the ground. That’s just Judah’s MO. He doesn’t want to be left out and wants to be with those he LOVES!
Why is Judah Being Rehomed?
13 months ago we had our first “real” child. Judah did not adapt very well. We got a trainer who helped a bit but Judah just never really warmed up to our son and in his defense, we did not work hard enough at the training process as we were more focused on learning to be parents to a real child. We always felt a bit on edge and after a jump at our son, we knew we just couldn’t “make it work any more”. He did not bite but rather “nipped” him. So Judah has been at a family’s house but now needs a new home. This process has been heartbreaking and we just hope to find a family that can take Judah in as their own! He’s worth it!!!
Judah’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
We just want someone and/or a family that will LOVE him and take them in as their own. Really, he is a great dog!!! He’s fun, happy, and makes life better! We would LOVE monthly updates via pictures, emails and/or maybe seeing him from time to time but are also ok doing whatever the family sees fit. We just want to know he’s ending up and living the rest of his life in a GREAT place!!!
Additional Comments:
We are praying with everything in us that we find him a home. We don’t have much time as my mom can’t keep him much longer due to her circumstances either so all we can do is pray that the RIGHT person/family sees this!
