More Info From the Current Owners
Thatcher and Churchill’s Personality:
Thatcher wants to be pet by everyone she meets. When a friendly person approaches her and begins to pet her she will roll over on her back and beg for a belly rub which she loves! She loves to run in the dog park and play “fetch”. Yes, if you throw the ball she will retrieve it and return it to you for a treat! She knows a few commands like sit, down, and speak and understands “no”. Thatcher is a healthy dog. I adopted Thatcher from the city animal shelter and she has always been on a wellness plan since I have owned her with Banfield Clinic. Thatcher needs to eat grain-free food because any other type of food will give her allergies and cause chronic ear infections. She will sleep on her bed in the study or sometimes by my bedside.
Churchill loves to run outside and play. ?He is a very loving dog and is great around children. ?He can be a little scared or timid when meeting strangers but warms up to people after someone begins to pet him. ?He often will jump on my lap or jump on the couch to lay next to me while watching TV. ?He is house broken and will lead me to the door when he is ready to go outside. ?Churchill loves riding in the car and hanging out of the window to feel the air as most dogs do. ?He understands the commands, sit, down and stay. ?He will bark to let me know when someone is at the door. He will sleep at the side of my bed, on my bed or on his doggie bed at night. ?He loves napping by my side. Churchill is playful and will be a loving addition to anyone’s family.
I would very much like to rehome Thatcher (black dog) and Churchill ( white dog) together. They really love each other and enjoy playing with each other.

Why are Thatcher and Churchill Being Rehomed?
I moved out of my house with a yard a few months ago and into an apartment. It has been a real challenge to get Thatcher and Churchill enough outside play time and walk time since I have moved and don’t have a yard anymore. I have been taking them to doggie day care a few days a week because I don’t have enough time to go back home during my lunch hour. I like taking them to day care but I cannot afford to do this much longer as it is getting a bit expensive. In addition, I started a new position at work and my hours are not regular. I do not like leaving my dogs in the apartment for an extended period of time so I am finding myself taking them to daycare and overnight boarding more and more often. As a single woman, I don’t have anyone else to help with their care. I realized this is not the best situation for Thatcher and Churchill and they need a loving family who can give them the time and attention they need.
Thatcher and Churchill’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
Lizzy deserves and doting, loving human (or humans) who will treat? her like the princess she is.? She has long beautiful that requires frequent grooming and and she loves you to make over her when you come home.? She loves to be a part of your everyday life.
Additional Comments:
Deciding to rehome Thatcher and Churchill was a hard decision. I wish my circumstances were different but I know placing them with a family that can give them the time and attention they need is best for them and their quality of life. I know the family who adopts them won’t regret having added them to their family.
